BOOK REVIEW: Interception Point (Mark Walden) HIVE

Book  Interception Point

Author:  Mark Walden

Rating:  5/10

A mini book written for world book day based in the gap between books 3 and 4.

HOPE have captured one of GLOVE's stealth suits and are transporting it by a automated armoured train.

It's high defenses mean only one person has a chance. Otto Malpenese who has the weird ability, that helps him fit perfectly into the villains world, of being able to mentally connect to machines systems.

Him,Wing,Laura and Shelby make up the team. their job is to retake or destroy the stealth suit and return alive with limited tech and no idea what awaits them.

And what they will discover is very worrying indeed. what is integrated to the train? what's the mysterious voice Otto keeps hearing? and what will they do when everything goes wrong?

All this in a excellent short story for a quick read.

Fairly enjoyable, obviously a bit too short, but that's the nature of these books. a good read but not essential as part of the series. also if you buy it you get a bonus book on the other side as it's a world book day book.

  1. you mean the books ok or the review?

I know this is a rather light and short review but the book is tiny. It's an aside to the storyline.

I'd only recommend buying it if you've read some of the rest of the series and decided you've liked thme because it is only a hundred-200 pages long I think and assumes you have knowledge of the series.

tthat being said if you have read some of the H.I.V.E series give this a go. it's very cheap and offers a little extra story.

  2. It's a bargain and a very short book, but is enjoyable if you've read some of the others

    1. exactly, and the book is so cheap, It was produced for the british world book day where you can buy these books for just £1,
and now they are even cheaper. so you get a decent book that costs less than the postage.
